My final year project team got an opportunity to collaborate with the Government Dental College & Hospital (GDCH) in Mumbai to develop a technical methodology for processing histopathological cells to evaluate the stage of oral precancer.

This involved utilizing machine learning (ML) image processing algorithms to extract 14 features from histopathological images. These features were then analyzed to determine the stage/grade of the oral tissue, categorizing it as mild, moderate, or severe based on the evaluation.
